The Opportunity The TMC Operator monitors traffic control and reporting systems, enabling early responses to incidents to minimise disruption. The role involves coordinating with emergency services, confirming incident details, supporting asset requests, and providing real‑time traffic information to media and the public. Operators play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow across the South Australian road network, contributing to effective day‑to‑day traffic operations. About you You communicate clearly and respectfully, maintaining confidentiality and understanding customer needs. You manage high workloads with accuracy and meet deadlines consistently. You work under general direction, using initiative to plan, prioritise and follow procedures. You are comfortable working in a high technology environment and show proficiency using different IT systems. You bring relevant knowledge of government programs and legislation and are self-motivated, resilient and solution‑focused.
