Purpose Drive animal health and biosecurity outcomes by delivering targeted programs in disease surveillance, prevention, and control. This role is central to emergency response, endemic disease management, and regulatory compliance under the Livestock Act 1997. You will partner with primary producers and agribusiness to strengthen animal welfare, management, and husbandry standards through education and capability‑building initiatives. By protecting animal health and ensuring market and regulatory integrity, this role directly supports domestic and international market access, enhances industry confidence, and safeguards the reputation of South Australia’s livestock sector.
