The Opportunity
As the Team Leader, Administration, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Civil Law Division has access to an efficient operation of support services. You will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of administrative staff as well as providing executive support to the Director and Team Leaders within the division.
You will act as a triage point for various legal services within Civil Law, including being responsible for managing and distributing workloads within the teams and providing a range of human resource management and reporting services to the team.

Salary Range
$82,212 - $86,180 per annum pro rata plus 12% superannuation and leave loading.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.
Term of Employment
Temporary 12 month contract at the ASO4 classification level.
What You Need for Success
The ideal candidate will:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, foster sound working relationships with a range of staff and prepare clear and succinct correspondence.
- Experience in providing guidance to staff and developing their skills, confidence and competence.
- Experience in providing a range of administrative and legal support services including preparing correspondence, coordinating and maintaining appointment diaries
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, flexible, conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic and exercise confidence, sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential matters and difficult clients.
- Well-developed knowledge of administrative processes, systems and records management practices relevant to working in a government environment.
