About the Role:

You will provide proficient, person-centred nursing care while supporting the leadership and coordination of the unit. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will assist with staffing, rostering, practice improvement and day-to-day operational activities to support safe and effective patient care. You will also provide guidance and supervision to less experienced staff, contribute to a positive learning culture, and support quality improvement and clinical education initiatives within the unit.

About You: 

• Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
• Demonstrated competence in nursing practice and experience supervising students and less experienced staff.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programs.
