The Opportunity

The Early Childhood Teacher, working within a child care environment, is responsible for the overall development and implementation of a recognized early childhood curriculum for children aged from birth to 5 years based on each child's individual needs and interests. The Early Childhood Teacher works with a high degree of autonomy in consultation with the coordinator in delivering of the childcare and teaching programs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recognised 4-year early childhood degree or qualification that is recognized by licensing authorities as an Early Childhood Teacher level
  • Working within a team environment to enhance the pedagogical context and experience
  • Experience in day-to-day leadership of a team with the Child Care Service, Development, and implementation of recognized early childhood curriculum (Early Learning Years Framework) and relevant childhood educational programs

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
