Job reference: 839600 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone We are currently inviting applications for Financial Accountants to join the South Australian Government Financing Authority (SAFA) at the Department of Treasury & Finance, with multiple positions available, both term and ongoing. Remuneration: ASO4 – Salary Range ($79,432 - $83,266 p.a.) About the opportunity: SAFA functions as the central financing authority, captive insurer and manager of the passenger and light commercial fleet operations for the Government of South Australia. SAFA plays an integral role in the overall management of the State Government's finances and risks, harnessing economies of scale and relevant expertise in wholesale financial markets and insurance markets to provide a range of treasury, insurance and vehicle fleet management services to public sector clients, set by its strategic direction. Working as an integral part of the Financial and Management Reporting team, the Financial Accountant is accountable to the Senior Accountant for the preparation of accurate, timely and value add financial information across SAFA and/or its clients. The role is responsible for delivering month end reporting, annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts and value add financial analysis to the business. Key responsibilities:
