  • Multiple roles, casual on-need basis
  • Positions available at various metro and regional childcare centres
  • Salaries:

CCW2: $31.61 - $32.44 per hour + 25% loading

CCW2.5: $33.92 per hour + 25% loading

CSP100: $34.42 - $35.63 per hour + 25% loading

The Opportunity

Working in the childcare sector, these positions are accountable for contributing to the effective management and delivery of high-quality care and education within the service, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children, while supporting coordination and supervision to maintain excellence in practice.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Responding to Risks or Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training certification required.
  • Current First Aid certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
  • A clear knowledge and understanding of issues and practices relating to childcare

Child Care Worker (CCW2):

  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities.

Child Care Worker (CCW2.5) and Child Care Services Professional:

  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
