Job reference: 840710 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Classification: MAS3 About the Opportunity Please note this is a backfill. – The Manager, Governance supports the Director, Public Safety Solutions by overseeing business operations, governance, and corporate compliance. The role is responsible for strategic and business planning, reporting, audit, finance, procurement, human resources, and risk management, ensuring Public Safety Solutions meets its obligations. The position also leads the Business Services team, ensuring the unit’s business needs are effectively understood and supported.
About the Business The Public Safety Solutions Unit within the Attorney-General's Department delivers core information and communications systems and services to government agencies, primarily those responsible for providing emergency services to the South Australian community. These include the SA Computer Aided Dispatch (SACAD) system, the SA Government Radio Network (SAGRN) and the State Rescue Helicopter Service (SRHS). Special Conditions for Employment Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
