We welcomed year 7 students as our inaugural year level.  An innovative, learning environment has been designed drawing from the ancient landscape of Morialta to develop contemporary, engaging and inspiring spaces for learners and educators to collaborate and learn through a dynamic and exciting curriculum. 

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Marketing, Events & Media Officer to join our team at Morialta Secondary College!

The Communications, Media & Events Coordinator operates under the direction of the Business Leader for the strategic leadership, coordination and delivery of whole school branding, communications, marketing and community engagement initiatives across Morialta Secondary College.

The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent and professional school image through the management of digital communications, social media platforms, website construction and ongoing management, print media campaigns, promotional activities and major whole-school events.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of whole-school communication, marketing and branding strategies aligned to the Site Improvement Plan and Department for Education requirements.

  • Ensure consistency of messaging, tone and visual identity across communication.

  • Develop and oversee communication schedules and campaigns that promote student achievement, school culture, enrolment growth and community engagement.

  • Lead the construction, development, management and continuous improvement of the school website, ensuring information remains accurate, current, accessible and aligned with school priorities.

  • Manage and coordinate all school social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and emerging digital platforms.

What you will bring:

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver engaging, professional communications to diverse audiences across multiple platforms.

  • Proven experience in communications, marketing, branding, media and event coordination, including the delivery of promotional campaigns and community engagement initiatives within a complex organisation.

  • Demonstrated experience managing digital communication platforms, including social media, website development and the creation of digital and print media content using photography, videography and graphic design tools.
