The Opportunity

The Dental Assistant provides support to the Clinical Director, Clinic Manager and Educational staff. They are responsible for day to day operations of the dental clinic areas including the induction and direct of students in procedures, setting up and packing up pre clinical exercises, addressing requirements for patient clinical sessions and safely and effectively decontaminating instruments in the sterilisation area.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to plan, implement work systems and practices while setting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an environment of constant change and pressure.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, instruments and procedures

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
