About the Role:
The Property Officer will report to the Team Leader Case Management within the Business Partnerships Unit within the Public Land and Business Partnerships Branch. The Property Officer role will be responsible for the management of complex Crown land disposal transactions and provide high level written advice to a range of stakeholders including other government agencies and the Minister. In addition, this role will also provide technical advice, in accordance with legislation and policy, to clients and key stakeholders in regard to the assessment, allocation and disposal of land and the administration of Crown land tenures.

Contract: 
Contract for up to 1 December 2026

Special Conditions:

  • Will be required to participate in responses to state emergencies or associated duties.
  • You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows you to work in Australia.
  • Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Police Check.
  • A current class “C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
  • May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel, occasional overnight absences, and work outside of the normal hours of work.

Remuneration: 
ASO5 $85,790 min - $95,413 max p.a.
