Ongoing | Multiple Positions | Full Time & Part-Time Opportunities | About The Role Take on a pivotal role where your advanced clinical coding expertise directly supports high-quality patient data, reliable reporting and accurate Activity Based Funding across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. As an Advanced Clinical Coder, you will provide timely and accurate clinical coding, quality assurance, auditing and education activities that contribute to healthcare planning, research and funding outcomes. Working collaboratively with clinicians and coding staff across the network, you will help improve documentation quality, mentor developing coders and support continuous improvement initiatives. This fully remote opportunity offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful contribution to regional healthcare services. About You You are an experienced Clinical Coder with exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a commitment to data quality. You enjoy working collaboratively, sharing your expertise and supporting continuous improvement while delivering accurate and meaningful health information outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will: • Successfully completed the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) Intermediate Clinical Coding Course in ICD-10-AM (current edition) and possess a minimum of three years' recent clinical coding experience. About Clinical Coding Services The Clinical Coding team supports the delivery of safe, effective and sustainable healthcare through the management of health information, clinical coding, documentation integrity and data reporting. The service plays a critical role in supporting Activity Based Funding, performance monitoring, research and healthcare planning while ensuring compliance with national and state clinical coding standards.
