About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Pharmacist in Renal Medicine to provide high-level clinical care to patients, mentorship to a team of pharmacists and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality pharmacy services. You will deliver a comprehensive, high-level range of pharmacy services, exercising independent judgement to provide expert medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, clinicians and healthcare teams, ensuring care aligns with professional standards and hospital policies.

With a strong focus on optimising patient outcomes, you will implement evidence-based strategies to promote the safe, effective, and cost-conscious use of pharmaceuticals. Your leadership will support innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery, enhancing both patient care and hospital operations. About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Pharmacist in Renal Medicine, with strong leadership abilities, a proficient clinician and a passion for delivering high-quality pharmacy services in a hospital setting. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Qualifications & Expertise - A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent and registration (or eligibility) with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, along with extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
• Leadership & Teamwork - Proven ability to lead, supervise, educate, and train both professional and non-professional staff while working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery.
• Communication & Organisational Abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy in a complex environment.
