About the Role:
The Manager, Commercial Services leads the delivery of a diverse
range of commercial services across DEW. These key enterprises
are:
- DEW's Customer Service Centre, including mapping and
digital data sales, commercial tour operator licensing and the
licensing of fauna permits.
- National Park's commercial sites, including Mt Lofty
Summit, Adelaide Gaol, Granite Island and State Flora.
- DEW's Customer Service Centre including the online booking
systems.
The Manager Commercial Services leads a team of site managers
across the State to plan and ensure the ongoing efficient and
effective management of physical, financial, human resources and
information assets within the commercial sites. The role also
develops business plans, policies and strategies, and identifies
opportunities to improve and broaden commercial activities with a
key focus on increasing revenue and raising the profile of South
Australia on a local, national and international level.

Contract:
Contract for Ongoing
Special Conditions:
- Will be required to participate in responses to state
emergencies or associated duties.
- You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or
provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows
you to work in Australia.
- Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be
required to obtain a National Police Check.
- Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be
required to provide a Department of Human Services (DHS)
working with children check (WWCC) which is required to be
renewed every five years before expiry. [DEW will cover the
cost of renewal]
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and
willingness to drive is essential.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and
work outside of the normal hours of work.
Remuneration:
MAS3 $127,859 max p.a.
