About the Role Join our Research Office and play a key role in advancing high quality clinical research across CALHN. You'll lead a small team, manage clinical trials governance and intellectual property processes, build strong partnerships, and help create efficient, compliant systems that support research from start to finish. Responsibilities • Lead clinical trials governance and administration across the research lifecycle • Guide and support a small team to deliver high quality research services • Provide expert advice on research governance, compliance and regulatory requirements • Build strong relationships with researchers, clinicians and external partners • Manage clinical trial agreements, facilities and governance systems • Coordinate timely ethics, governance and site approval processes • Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements • Review and improve governance processes, procedures and resources • Partner with universities, industry, ethics committees and technology transfer organisations on research and intellectual property matters • Support the protection and management of intellectual property arising from research About You You're an organised and collaborative professional who enjoys supporting high quality research and helping others succeed. You bring strong research governance expertise, sound judgement and a proactive approach to delivering compliant, efficient outcomes. • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field • Experience in clinical trials, research governance and IP • Knowledge of human research ethics and Australian standards • Strong leadership, stakeholder and written communication skills • Proven ability to manage priorities with accuracy and discretion Why You’ll Love It Here - CALHN benefits that matter
