Our HR Business Partnering team at SAPOL is growing and we’re looking for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about making a meaningful difference to how our people experience work. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in complex industrial and organisational change, using your expertise to shape organisational structure, strengthen the Agency’s industrial environment and make a lasting impact on a workforce that delivers critical services to the community every day. The Principal HR Business Partner reports directly to the Manager, HR Business Partnering, and collaborates closely with senior executive stakeholders and a team of experienced HR Business Partners. This position will provide specialist strategic and complex HR advisory service to executives, senior leaders and employees which contributes to the achievement of SA Government and SAPOL’s strategic goals and priorities. While this position has no direct reports, it will be accountable for leading a significant organisational change initiative and providing strategic industrial advice with broad impact across the organisation. The Principal HR Business Partner provides specialist HR support to executives through the delivery of strategic HR programs and leadership of complex employee relations matters. The role includes coaching and providing strategic advice to executives and leaders on complex workforce management, performance improvement and innovative HR solutions to support business objectives within legislative and policy frameworks.
