Join South Australia's Kangaroo Management Program and help
support the administration of a unique industry that contributes to
wildlife management across the state.
We're seeking an organised and customer-focused Industry Liaison
Officer to provide administrative support and assist permit
holders, industry stakeholders and program staff. This is a varied
role where you'll combine customer service, record management and
day-to-day administration to help keep the program running
smoothly.
In this role you'll:
- Respond to enquiries by phone, email and at the front
counter
- Process kangaroo tag orders and maintain accurate
records
- Enter and manage industry data and monthly returns
- Follow up missing information and resolve record
discrepancies
- Coordinate meetings, agendas and minutes
- Provide general administrative support to the Kangaroo
Management team

Contract:
12 Month Contract
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in responses to state
emergencies or associated duties.
- You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or
provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows
you to work in Australia without restrictions.
- Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be
required to obtain a National Police Check.
A successful applicant who is not currently employed by the
Department for Environment and Water will be required to have an
original photo identification document sighted and provide a
valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) issued
within the last 12 months.
Remuneration:
ASO2, $64,195 min - $67,154 max p.a.
