The powers and duties of the Inspector are set out in Schedule 4 of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 2012 and section 29 of the Ombudsman Act 1972. The Inspector will be appointed for a term of up to 3 years, on conditions determined by the Governor. Eligibility Applications are sought from legal practitioners of at least 7 years’ standing.
