About the Role

As an Allied Health Assistant supporting Social Work services, you'll play a key role in helping deliver compassionate, person centred care across CALHN's single service, multiple site model. Working under the supervision of the Principal Social Worker, you'll assist with day to day service delivery, support patients, families and carers, and help coordinate care across a busy multidisciplinary team. You'll collaborate closely with social work and allied health staff, as well as medical, nursing and administration teams, while also liaising with community services and external agencies to ensure smooth, connected care for every consumer.

You bring a positive, reliable approach and are keen to build a career in allied health while supporting safe, respectful care.

• Eligible to undertake Allied Health Assistance Certificate III
• Work well under supervision and complete routine tasks reliably
• Communicate clearly and build trust within diverse teams
• Service environment experience with a strong customer focus
• Understand confidentiality, ethical practice and safe work procedures
