The
Opportunity
We have an
opportunity for an Executive Services Officer to be part of our
Corporate Services Division within the Department of Primary
Industries and Regions (PIRSA).
This is an
opportunity to provide high-level executive, governance and
business support to the Executive Director, Corporate Services,
while supporting the effective coordination and delivery of
priorities across the Division.
Working in a
fast-paced and complex environment, you will use your judgement,
initiative and strong organisational skills to manage competing
priorities, coordinate executive workflows, support governance
processes and ensure high-quality information is available to
inform decision-making.
You will also
play an important role in building effective relationships across
PIRSA and with government, industry and other key
stakeholders.
How
You'll Make a Difference
As the
Executive Services Officer, you will:
- Provide high level executive support to
the Executive Director, Corporate Services, including
coordinating diary priorities, correspondence, briefings,
meetings and emerging issues.
- Coordinate high-level meetings,
committees and governance processes including agendas, briefing
materials, minutes and action tracking and follow
up.
- Prepare and coordinate
high-quality correspondence, business reports, briefings and
Ministerial, Parliamentary and Cabinet submissions, in
accordance with government requirements and corporate
standards.
- Monitor executive workflows, priorities
and emerging issues, ensuring matters requiring attention are
identified and escalated appropriately.
- Provide day-to-day coordination and
guidance to the Divisional Project and Executive Officer,
supporting effective prioritisation, quality outputs and
delivery of executive, governance and project
support.
- Act as a professional and responsive
point of contact for the Executive Director and Corporate
Services Division, building productive relationships with PIRSA
divisions, the Chief Executive's Office, Ministerial Office,
government agencies, industry and other
stakeholders.
- Support effective risk management and
continually identify opportunities to improve systems,
processes and ways of working across Corporate
Services.
- Facilitate a collegiate, professional and
effective network across PIRSA, supporting collaboration,
coordination and high-quality executive support
services.

You
To be
successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience providing
high-level executive support and administrative support to
senior leaders in a complex and fast paced
environment.
- Strong organisational skills and
demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate
executive workflows and deliver outcomes within tight
timeframes.
- Exceptional verbal and written
communication skills, including experience preparing
correspondence, briefings, reports and other executive
documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate
meetings and governance processes, including agendas, minutes,
action registers and follow-up.
- Sound knowledge of administrative,
executive support and records management processes, with the
ability to quickly understand and navigate organisational
systems and requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and
relationship-building skills, with the ability to work
effectively with people at all levels and across diverse
stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated initiative and sound
judgement, including the ability to anticipate issues, identify
solutions and act autonomously within delegated
responsibilities.
- The
ability to handle sensitive and confidential government and
industry information with discretion, professionalism and
attention to detail.

Conditions

- Full-time, 37.5 hours
per week.
Requirements
- Out of
hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be
required.
- Australian residency or
current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant
to provide evidence of a current work permit).
- You
acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our

- The
incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management
training and must be willing to participate in emergency
preparedness, response and recovery activities required by
government agencies.
Remuneration
ASO5 -
$92,122 min - $102,456 max per annum, plus
superannuation
